Full Story:Love in Singapore,directed by the hit-making Rafi-Mecartin duo,was at a stage re-named Love in Bangkok,as the makers faced certain problems about finding locations in Singapore and were forced to look for locations in Bangkok. But then,things got back on track and the film was shot in Singapore,thus making it Love in Singapore again. The film is ready for immediate release. Love in Singapore tells the story of Machchu,who grew up in the streets and later became a scrap dealer. Though illiterate and poor,he works his way up in life. He is a do-gooder kind of guy who helps everyone around him. Machchu has as his close aides Shukoor and Narayanan. Once Machchu happens to meet Andrews Pereira,a rich businessman settled in Singapore. Andrews Pereira and his daughter Diana,who are on a visit to India,are impressed with the honesty and straightforward nature of Machchu. Andrews Pereira takes Machchu to Singapore. From there Machchu's life takes a new turn. While Mammootty does the role of Machchu,it's Navneeth Kaur who is the leading lady,playing the role of Diana. Nedumudi Venu becomes Andrews Pereira while Salim Kumar and Bijukuttan become Shukoor and Narayanan respectively. Suraaj Venjaramoodu also plays a key role in the film,which is produced under the banner of MHM Productions. The film is expected to be a full-length entertainer with all kinds of ingredients.
