Full Story:Villager Muthu arrives in town to win a singing contest and pay off his mother's debt. Back home. He has a blossoming love life with his music teacher's daughter Devyanai. Upon successfully winning the contest,an elated Muthu returns with the dough. But he hears the news of a flood following which Devyanai's whereabouts are unaware. Muthu believes his lover has died. His mother relocates him to the city and continues from the success he left off. He proceeds to reluctantly marry Rubkala; while his voice touches lives across the country. One such life is his first love Devyanai,who's alive but struggling from amnesia.
