FX has unveiled the official trailer for its forthcoming mystery limited series, “A Murder At The End Of The World,” featuring a star-studded cast including Emma Corrin, Clive Owen, Harris Dickinson, and Brit Marling.

In the trailer’s opening moments, Emma Corrin’s character reflects on life’s choices, pondering whether it would have been better not to embark on a certain journey. The trailer, set to a haunting cover of Depeche Mode’s “Strangelove,” explores the idea of life’s unpredictable twists and the consequences of being trapped in a remote place with no way back.

Darby Hart’s Digital Detective Journey in ‘A Murder At The End Of The World

In the seven-episode limited series “A Murder At The End Of The World,” created by Marlin and Zal Batmanglij, Emma Corrin stars as Darby Hart, a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker.

Darby, along with eight other guests, is invited by a reclusive billionaire, portrayed by Clive Owen, to a retreat in a remote and stunning location. However, when one of the guests is discovered dead, Darby must harness her skills to prove it was murder amidst a web of conflicting interests, all while preventing the killer from striking again.

The star-studded cast of “A Murder at the End of the World” includes Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson, and Neal Huff.

Marling and Batmanglij serve as executive producers alongside Andrea Sperling (known for “Transparent”), Melanie Marnich, and Nicki Paluga. The series is written by Marnich and Rebecca Roanhorse and produced by FX Productions.
