Synopsis

Full Story:A simple story,beautifully narrated that sums up Sakhi,Maniratnam's latest offering. Kartik is an engineering student,Santhi is a medical student in the same city. Love blossoms between them. Their efforts to convincee their respective families do not easily find success due to their class difference. Santhi being a conservative girl decides to forget her love and move on since,the marriage if it were to take place will leave a lot of heartburn in both the families. But that's only for a while.Heart rules the mind and Santhi & Kartik elope to get married and start living on their own. All hell breaks loose when their parents come to know of this. Even as they deal with their bruised egos and hurt feelings,small misunderstanding crops between Santhi & Kartik. At one point santhi even suspects Kartik to be infidel. The rest of the story is all about the reunion of the love couple surmonting all odds.
