A British stop-motion cartoon comedy movie Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is coming out soon. Together with Netflix, the film is made by the French studio Pathé and the British company Aardman Animations. The movie is a sequel to Chicken Run (2000) and is directed by Sam Fell.
The story of the movie is written by John O’Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick. On June 11, 2023, the film was shown for the first time at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Netflix bought the rights to show the movie everywhere except in China. The movie will be available to watch online on Netflix in December 2023.

Ginger has found her ideal spot after successfully fleeing from Tweedy’s farm in a brave and risky method. It is a beautiful island bird sanctuary where the entire flock may live in harmony and there are no hazards from people.
Molly, Ginger and Rocky’s baby daughter gives the impression that Ginger’s dream of having a daughter has at last come true and that she is living out her own personal fairytale. On the other hand, the entire chicken population on the mainland is suddenly faced with a new and terrifying threat that they must contend with.
Ginger and her squad are resolved to break in, even if doing so puts their freedom in jeopardy. They are determined to protect their liberty at any cost.
The first movie was a kid-friendly version of the war movie The Great Escape. It was about chickens running away from a farm where they were going to die. So, it’s likely that the sequel will continue to show war movies, maybe by showing how the characters’ escape changed them.
