Matt Groening made the animated fantasy sitcom Disenchantment for Netflix. This is Groening’s first show that is only available on a streaming service. He previously made The Simpsons and Futurama for Fox. In the medieval fantasy country of Dreamland, the series follows the story of Bean, a rebellious princess who drinks too much, her naive elf friend Elfo, and her destructive “personal demon” Luci.
Abbi Jacobson, Eric André, Nat Faxon, John DiMaggio, etc lend their voices to Disenchantment. There are a total of 40 episodes, which were released in four groups of ten.
The first part came out in August 2018, followed by the second in September 2019, the third in January 2021, and the fourth in February 2022. In September the fifth part will be released. Most reviews have been positive.
Release date of disenchantment part 5
Part 5 of Disenchantment will have 10 shows, just like the other 4 parts. By the time it’s done, the whole thing will have made 50 shows. The Disenchantment Part 5, will be available to watch on Netflix on September 1, 2023. Netflix has also put a short clip of it on YouTube as a teaser.

The plot of disenchantment part 5
Part four ended with Bean beating an evil version of herself in a dream by gruesomely cutting off her head. Her mother Dagmar then threw her into the sea. Bean’s fish boyfriend Mora seems to have saved her again, which is good news. In part five, Bean’s friendship with this mysterious fish lady and her ongoing fight with Dagmar are likely to be looked at in more depth.
We might also find out more about Bean’s new abilities, which were mentioned a few times in part four. In one episode, she healed her father Zg’s arm by waving her hand over it, and in the last one, she learned how to fire lightning from her fingers like a seasoned Sith Lord.
This last skill seems to be something she can only do in her dreams, but we have a feeling she’ll soon be able to do it in real life, too. On the other hand, King Zg is back on a journey outside of Dreamland after he successfully honked his way out of the insane asylum.
He’ll probably be on a journey to save Ursula the bear woman, Jasper, Derek, Freckles the talking puppet, and Odval, who were all taken and put on display in a freak show in Steamland. And finally, the secret of the Elves, Trogs, and Sea Trogs keeps getting bigger.
All three species are the same, and Dreamland used to be their fantasy kingdom. After the humans took over, the Elves were forced to split into two groups. After drinking the Sacred Goo, which is a valuable liquid that will supposedly give power to the “Saviour” at some point, the two groups turned into Trogs and Sea Trogs.
