Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 38: Sunny’s Movie Gains Significant Popularity and Nears Beating SRK’s Film Pathaan
The Indian movie scene is buzzing with excitement these days because of two big films. One of them is “Gadar 2,” starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, and the other is “Jawan,” led by Shah Rukh Khan. “Jawan” has stormed the box office like a massive wave, while “Gadar 2” continues to be a strong contender in ticket sales.
What’s interesting is that “Gadar 2,” directed by Anil Sharma, has been steadily gaining ground at the box office. Even though it did slow down a bit after crossing the coveted Rs 500 crore mark, it experienced a significant boost in earnings during its fifth weekend.
According to a report from Sacnilk, “Gadar 2” made Rs 0.71 crores on the 37th day (6th Saturday) and is expected to earn Rs 0.98 crores on the 38th day (6th Sunday). This marks a substantial 38% increase in collections, bringing the movie’s overall earnings to Rs 519.41 crores.
It’s clear that “Gadar 2” is still going strong even after being in theaters for over a month and is inching closer to surpassing the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan,” which stands at Rs 525 crores. If it achieves this feat, it will become the second highest-grossing Hindi film ever, after “Baahubali: The Conclusion.”
It’s evident that Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” did have an impact on the collections of “Gadar 2.” Anil Sharma, the director of “Gadar 2,” recently spoke about how “Jawan” affected his film’s earnings.
“Just like how ‘Gadar 2’ received love from the audience, ‘Jawan’ is also going to receive a similar amount of love, if not more. People will have a fantastic time watching these movies.
They’ll cheer, dance, and applaud. People are eager to watch grand and entertaining films, they want to experience the spectacle. Otherwise, they are just at home, watching movies alone.
People are longing for a communal cinema experience, and these films provide exactly that. With ‘Jawan,’ the entire film industry will benefit. Movies like these are essential.
