Full Story: By the 1890s the british had annexed the chandrapur district to the Bombay Presidency. This was of much importance to the British Government for the becoming cotton trade in Maharashtra. However,they failed to gain authority over the forest-village of Kolsa due to reasons unknown. A British officer who comes to investigate the matter discovers from the care takes of his bunglow,Rokhiya,that there have been mysterious deaths of the former British officials in the village. Rokhiya also warns the officer not to pay heed to the flute that one hears from the jungle at night. It's bad omen,he says. Curiosity over takes the warning and the officer is left with a shocking s discovery.
