The movie “Jawan,” with Shah Rukh Khan as the main actor, is doing incredibly well all around the world. So far, it has collected more than Rs 860 crore.

Just on Sunday, the film made a remarkable Rs 36.85 crore. According to estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, it earned Rs 16 crore on Monday.

In total, after 12 days of being in theaters, “Jawan,” directed by Atlee and featuring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Deepika Padukone, and Sanjay Dutt, has collected Rs 493.63 crore in India. On Monday, about 23.92 percent of the seats for the Hindi version of the movie were occupied.

“Jawan” is setting new records in terms of box office success. Shah Rukh Khan seems to be surpassing his achievements and is even competing with his movie “Pathaan,” which was released earlier this year in January. “Pathaan,” directed by Siddharth Anand and featuring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, was a massive box office hit, earning Rs 1,055 crore worldwide and Rs 543.09 crore in India.

Jawan, the Bollywood movie, is achieving remarkable success on a global scale. It has gathered an astonishing amount of money, over Rs 860 crore, so far. This achievement sets a new speed record in the Bollywood film industry.

Previously, the film “Pathaan” held the record, earning $130 million worldwide, making it the most successful film of Shah Rukh Khan’s career. However, it’s worth noting that “Jawan” has become the second-highest-grossing Hindi movie worldwide, right after Aamir Khan’sDangal,” which raked in around $250 million.

If “Jawan” manages to surpass “Pathaan” in global box office earnings, Shah Rukh Khan will achieve a unique feat in the Indian film industry. He will be the only Indian actor to have two movies that have earned over $100 million in a single year.

Recently, the film’s director, Atlee, expressed his hopes and aspirations for “Jawan.” During an interview with Etimes, Atlee shared his desire to see the movie make it to the Oscars, one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the world. Atlee explained that everyone in the film industry dreams of receiving recognition at such esteemed events as the Oscars, and he would be thrilled if “Jawan” could seize that opportunity.
