Ayushmann Khurrana has achieved another remarkable success with his latest film, “Dream Girl 2,” as it joined the exclusive 100-crore club in just 18 days.

“Dream Girl 2” is Ayushmann Khurrana’s fourth movie to cross the 100 crore mark, following the success of “Dream Girl,” “Bala,” and “Badhaai Ho.” This movie serves as a sequel to the highly popular 2019 film “Dream Girl,” in which Ayushmann also played the lead role.

The journey to success for “Dream Girl 2” was not without challenges. It faced fierce competition from other films like “Gadar 2,” which was already in its third week and showing no signs of slowing down, as well as Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan,” which added to the pressure at the box office.

Despite these challenges, “Dream Girl 2” managed to shine.

According to Sacnilk, “Dream Girl 2” earned approximately Rs 60 lakhs on Monday, bringing its total earnings to a whopping Rs 100.01 crore. The film had an impressive opening day, collecting Rs 10.69 crore. During its first week, it earned Rs 67 crore, followed by an additional Rs 28 crore in the second week.

Ananya Panday, who plays a pivotal role in the film, celebrated her first 100-crore movie by sharing her joy on Instagram, exclaiming, “My first century!!”

In “Dream Girl 2,” Ayushmann Khurrana portrays the lead character who assumes the identity of his alter-ego, Pooja, to earn quick money. His objective is to marry Pari Srivastava, played by Ananya Panday. The movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, and Asrani.
