‘Slotherhouse’ Review: A Cuddly, Murderous Mammal Spices Up Dull Sorority Slasher

For a movie that seems to be built around a joke, “Slotherhouse” is a lot better than the Syfy movies that brought “Sharknado” to the big screen in 2013. “The Bud” has much better writing than what made “Sharknado” a big hit on Syfy in 2013.

Compared to the average low-budget exploitation idea, the budget looks bigger, the camerawork looks better, and the whole thing seems to be done with more care. Even with a better package, the sloth slasher isn’t as funny or scary as it wants to be. This shows that some ideas are better when they are put in a short form.
