That’s not true. A lot of people would say that Jonathan Kent’s (John Schneider) death was worse than Lionel Luthor’s (John Glover) death. Leonel died in an episode of season 7. Stephen Dorff played his son Lex, who killed him. Leon’s friend Lex helped him prepare for his first role in the Superman prequel series. Lex really wanted to show his dad how good he was and earn his love and respect.
He became very bad very quickly after it came out that he had killed his parents, made threats against Chloe (Allison Mack), and tried to find out Clark’s secrets. Because of this, he was now against the main characters. As soon as a link was made to Jor-El, Little Rock began to shape Lionel into a friend who knew the truth about Clark’s Kryptonian roots.
Luthor died in Season 7, but Glover would play the part of Luthor again, but this time from a different world and in a different way. The new Lionel goes to Smallville’s main world in Season 10. Green Arrow (Justin Hartley), who played Lex in Season 8, killed him in the last episode. Lionel tried to help bring Lex back to life.
Soon after, Darkseid, the bad guy, took over this Lionel. At the end of the show, Lionel was there when Clark flew for the first time. There will be a new season of Smallville, but Clark Kent, played by Welling, is back by DC. The eleventh season of the comic book show Smallville began with Clark Kent as Superman.
The comics were run by Bryan Q. Miller from 2012 to 2013. He also writes for Smallville. After that, Welling played Clark Kent again in Crisis on Infinite Earths, a show that crossed over into the Arrowverse and ran from 2019 to 2020. In the US, you can watch Smallville online right now on Hulu.
